Community guidelines
UnbuiltHub works when people feel safe sharing unfinished ideas. These guidelines keep it that way. Breaking them can get content hidden or an account suspended.
Sharing ideas
- Share your own ideas, or ideas you have the right to share. Don't copy other people's work.
- Be specific: who has the problem, why now, and who you need.
- No ads, spam, referral links or ideas posted only to sell something.
- Nothing illegal, dangerous, hateful, sexual or designed to scam people.
Giving feedback
- Be kind and honest. Criticise the idea, never the person.
- Explain why. “This won't work” helps nobody; “customers here already use X for free” does.
- Don't take someone's idea and present it as your own.
Working together
- Only say you're interested if you really are, and be clear about your skills and time.
- Agree on roles, ownership and money in writing before you start. UnbuiltHub isn't part of those agreements.
- Never ask for or send money, passwords or personal documents through comments.
