Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and UnbuiltHub (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using UnbuiltHub you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Accounts can't be sold or transferred.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the ideas, comments and images you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show and share that content on UnbuiltHub as needed to run the service, in line with the visibility you choose (public, secret or invite-only). You can delete your ideas at any time.

You promise you have the right to post what you post, and that it follows our community guidelines. We may hide or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these terms or the guidelines.

3. Ideas are shared at your own risk

Public ideas can be read by anyone, and secret ideas by any paying member. We can't stop people from being inspired by, or copying, what they read. Don't post anything you need to keep confidential, such as trade secrets or patentable details. Each published idea shows a timestamp that can help as proof of when you shared it, but it is not a legal protection.

4. Paid plans

Some features may need a paid plan. When paid plans are available, payments are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com, whose terms also apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Prices can change, but never during a period you have already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

Don't break the law, harass people, send spam, scrape the site, try to get around limits or security, or use UnbuiltHub to collect money or personal data from other members.

6. Disclaimer: we only connect people

UnbuiltHub is a place to meet. We are not a party to any agreement, partnership, job, investment or other deal between members, and we don't check members' identities, skills, claims or finances. Nothing on UnbuiltHub, including AI ratings, competitor lists and investor profiles, is legal, financial or investment advice. AI output can be wrong. Do your own research and get professional advice before you rely on anything you read here or make any agreement.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost ideas or anything that happens between members. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you haven't paid us anything.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using UnbuiltHub at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 3, 6 and 7 continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use UnbuiltHub after that means you accept the new terms.
