Starter ideas, free for anyone to build
Many elderly parents live alone while their children work in another city or abroad. They don't need full-time nursing, but they do need someone to visit, chat, help with shopping and check they're taking medicines.
Book trained, background-checked companions for regular visits. After each visit, the family gets a short update with photos and any concerns. Companions are trained to spot warning signs and alert families early.
Revenue: hourly visits or monthly plans paid by family members, often from abroad.
Looking for a co-founder with healthcare or care-home experience and a marketer to reach overseas families.
This is a starter idea from the UnbuiltHub team. Nobody owns it: if you'd like to build it, share your own version and find your team here.
