Petiketi: a virtual pet that remembers your life and keeps you on track

Most people start a habit app, a budget app and a reminder app, and give them all up within weeks. Each one is a form to fill in and a streak to feel guilty about, so the apps that are meant to help become one more chore. Meanwhile many people, especially those living alone or far from family, have no one who notices how their week is going.

A companion pet you adopt, look after and talk to. Say "remind me to call the dentist on Thursday at three" and it does. Tell it you spent 40 on groceries or had biryani for lunch and it logs the expense or the calories. Mention a goal and it checks in with you. The pet answers in its own voice, remembers what mattered and brings it up later. Feed it, wash it and keep its jabs up to date: neglect it and it gets unwell, care for it and it thrives, and so do you.
