Starter ideas, free for anyone to build
Small furniture workshops make great sofas and tables, but customers are unsure how a piece will fit or look in their room. Big retailers like IKEA have AR previews; small makers can't afford to build them.
A simple tool: the maker takes a short video around a piece with their phone, and we turn it into a 3D model customers can place in their room through a link, no app needed. Makers can embed it on Instagram, WhatsApp and their website.
Revenue: monthly subscription by number of products, around $20–$50.
Looking for a developer with 3D or photogrammetry experience and a designer for the customer experience.
This is a starter idea from the UnbuiltHub team. Nobody owns it: if you'd like to build it, share your own version and find your team here.
