Restaurants in Lagos buy vegetables from middlemen at Mile 12 market, paying high prices for produce that is often bruised or a day old. Farmers two hours away get a fraction of what restaurants pay, and a lot of their harvest rots.
The marketplace lets restaurants order before 6pm for next-morning delivery directly from a network of farms. We aggregate orders, run one refrigerated van route, and grade quality at a small collection hub.
Revenue: a 12–15% margin on produce plus a delivery fee for small orders. Restaurants save 10–20% and get fresher stock.
Looking for an operations co-founder who knows Lagos logistics, a developer for the ordering app, and an angel interested in agri-tech.
This is a starter idea from the UnbuiltHub team. Nobody owns it: if you'd like to build it, share your own version and find your team here.
